Wed Series 3 somatic movement classes online Sept 16-Oct 7, 2020
Sept 16 “Creating a More Intelligent Spine” addresses the muscles deep to the spine and in the torso in a variety of planes of motion, to decompress the vertebrae, and bring circulation and health to your spine, and more intelligent movement and control to your whole body.
Sept 23, “Somatic Solutions for Hips, Pelvis, Legs” focusses on upper legs, hip sockets, and pelvis and issues of that area, with some beautiful, sensual, slow motion movement techniques that are powerful yet gentle for re-patterning muscles and bringing ease to your body.
Sept 30, “Creating Comfort, Ease for Shoulders, Neck, Jaw” this class will include a number of seated sequences as well as floor work and help with issues of the upper body and these areas of common tension and pain.
Oct 7, “A Somatic Approach to Gentle Strengthening (Part 2)” This part 2 class stands on its own, and offers more somatic strategies for gentle strengthening. With each movement, I’ll offer first a gentle and then more challenging version to choose from, so that you can keep your body safe and pain free.
Daylight Savings time: please note that daylight savings time (DST) ends (clocks back) for Europe on Oct 25, and US, Canada on Nov 1. DST begins (clocks forward) for Australia on Oct 4. This may impact on your class time on some days. I will remind you of this.

Location: Online zoom platform. A link will be sent to you prior to class. If you are new to zoom, you must download the free app prior to class at zoom.us (please don’t wait to the last minute. it takes 10 min or more to download)
Pay it Forward Payment option: My prices are still extremely low to support people still experiencing financial stress during this covid time. I have included a ‘Pay it Forward’ Option for the Class Bundles. What you will need: comfortable, flexible clothing, a chair, a mat or other padding for the floor, several towels or blankets folded as props, and a quiet place for your somatic movement practice. Practice setting up your device so that I can see all of you on your mat. Avoid back lighting like a bright window, as I wont be able to see you.
Policy for Late Arrivals: Kindly arrive at least 5 min prior to the start of class. Late arrivals after the start of class may not be admitted. It is distracting to the class, teacher, and recording process. If you are late and not admitted, you will have access to the audio recording the next day.
Please sign up 24 hrs in advance if at all possible. If you are last minute, you run the risk of me not seeing your registration in time, and you won’t have the link for the live class.
